This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you use the ThumbDash iOS Application (the "App") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

1. 100% On-Device Processing

ThumbDash is designed with absolute privacy at its core. ThumbDash operates 100% locally on your iOS device.

• No Telemetry: All your typing stats, WPM, and ghost races remain on your device and are never uploaded to any server.
• AI Prompts: Typing prompts are generated locally by a llama.cpp engine running an on-device SmolLM2 model in your device's RAM/GPU.

2. No Data Collection or Transmission

Because all processing is local:

• We do not operate backend servers to receive your typing data.
• We do not collect, store, or transmit your game progress.
• We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising networks inside the App.
• We do not collect any personal data, device information, or location statistics.

ThumbDash connects to Apple for App Store purchases and may download AI model files from third-party model hosting services such as Hugging Face. These downloads do not include your typing data.

3. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. Because we do not collect your contact details, we cannot notify you of updates individually; please review this page periodically to stay informed.
